My HO Scale train collection

PavløvA_YT

I don't just have paper models... I also have a couple of HO scale trains that run on rails...

The trains are all at my house, but the layout I am going to run them on is at my grandmother's house (currently a bunch of plywood boards and wires that needs tracks) and I will be taking my trains over there in the coming holidays to film them... once I build the layout...

Anyway, I got two of these today as an early birthday present...

Aucision Models Tangara no T97 -- I have had this since 2022 and run it multiple times, at a friend's layout.

I plan to get another L Set and a silver-door CityDecker Goninan S Set (SDP S Set) and an LDP or LCP L Set...

MI2N Eole in 1/87!

1/87 scale MI2N Eole Expression of Interest

It is that time of the month again, when I make yet another 3D Model. This time, it will be an MI2N Eole. Many liveries of this wonderful train will be available.

Here are some examples of liveries

Here is what the train looks like so far:

Just some K Set graphics you can print out for your walls :3

Pick a couple as lots of different art exists. Obviously, you should make a K Set first...

The production of TFNSW K Sets continues...

Here we have K91, with a destination board for Olympic Park, which couples to K98. This is based off their most recent arrangements.

Just made K99 as well... this can run with K98! The only difference is grey ends on the ex-driving trailers.

Note that K1 and K2 are treated as one unit (K98), K3 and K4 are also treated as one unit (K99).

K99 has been scrapped, I believe, and last ran with K94.

Eagle-eyed viewers will spot that this is K98, one of 2 trains produced by coupling Newcastle K Sets K1-K4 together! K1 and K2 make up this train, and despite the yellow fronts on the driving trailers, they are not going to drive ever again. K98 is the sole Newcastle K Set left as K99, together with K94, have been scrapped (to my knowledge, I saw them at Maintrain without pantographs a month ago, which usually means they are about to be scrapped. K98 was temporarily out of service, but I believe it is back in service now.

No 2-car K Sets ever wore this livery, they had become K98 and K99 by then.

Also, I should note, K Sets number from K60-K99 (with K67, K75, K81, K83, K86, K88, K92, K96 and K99 out of service)

Finally, CityRail realised the silver livery looked... hideous... and repainted it! Adding a minimalistic yellow stripe and painting part of the front end yellow did not ruin the look of the train, and arguably made it look better overall. It just sucks they repainted the doors yellow eventually.

The motor carriages on these feature destination boards, which was part of their refurbishment.

The trains are Suburban K Set K83 and Newcastle K Set K4. K4's driving trailer does not have a destination board, as they did not in real life either.
