Many of you may have just started assembling my models. You may have no experience. You may have just started out. This is okay, we all started without experience. I initially did not know how to use a computer, and I now make models for fun! So, if you are struggling to make any of the models you can see, here are some I can recommend.
#1: MP51 Version Simplifiée
This model, designed by me, is super easy to assemble, whilst still having good levels of detail. The easiest to build model I have made, this model takes only 15 minutes for a complete novice to assemble. It also looks quite nice, and is a train with a cool backstory (first driverless train ever)
Here is the link: MP51 (Simplified Version)
Build difficulty: 2/10
Detail: 6/10
Accuracy to real life: 6/10
Build time: 15min (all levels of experience)
Overall score: 20/30
#2: CP92's MP14
Yet another elegantly simple construction, this model by CP92 is of a French MP14, a rubber tyred subway train that runs on Paris Metro lines 4, 11 and 14. Driverless and driver operated versions both exist. Build time per carriage is 15 minutes, trains are expandable to 8 carriages.
Note that my version, whilst much more detailed and slightly more accurate, takes over an hour per carriage to make and is much harder to build.
It appears that only the driver operated one is available now.
Build difficulty: 4/10
Detail: 8/10
Accuracy to real life: 7/10
Build time: 15min (all skill levels)
#3 Alstom Prima by CP92 and Sensoul12
Sidenote: This is my own Prima, hauling some Metro trains! This is also a remix, if you are interested, it is only a few posts downstairs.
This is a decent model of the Alstom Prima locomotive. Both diesel and electric versions are available 10+ liveries (with more coming). Build time is 45 minutes but it is an easy build, and these locomotives pull everything in France, so you will build one eventually, anyway.
Build difficulty: 2/10
Detail: 7/10
Accuracy to real life: 8/10
Time to build: 30min (experienced builder), 45min (novice builder)
Overall score: 23/30
