This is the difference between a V5 R2N (PACA) and a V2 R2N (liO). Version 5, in this case, a V160L in SÜD-PACA livery, is a modified version of Clem's R2N V4. The other one is V2 of the R2N Cm (V200Cm) in liO livery (Occitanie provence). Enjoy the photos!
V5 (left) and V2 (right), side viewTop view, showing front endsNotice the difference in bogie types, as well as the noticeable roof curveArticulation on V5 R2NMuch simpler articulation on the original designPersonally, V4/V5 models are harder to build, I recommend making the V2 models, although these are not publicly available anymore (Email me if you want them at duck33920@gmail.com)
The articulation on V4/V5 models also tends to break.
Enjoy
I love this PACA livery. SNCF Voyageurs and the PACA region have improved/renewed the livery.
ReplyDeleteYes, it is a beautiful livery. It is my favourite too. The TER ZOU! livery looks worse in my opinion. This livery, liO and both Normandie liveries (normal and Krono) all look stunning
DeleteI also like the Zou livery because the colours it uses are a bit different from the ordinary and remind me of the Azure coast.
DeleteBut if I had to choose between PACA and Zou, I'd prefer PACA.
