Regio 2N dismantling

PavløvA_YT

It has had a long life, but all good things must come to an end. Today, I started the dismantling process on my R2N XL Krono Citi+. The end carriages are being preserved, but the rest is being used as compost (fertiliser). It is one of 2 V2 R2Ns I have, and may be replaced by a V4 R2N in Normandie livery. The middle carriages were damaged anyway, so I decided to recycle it.

During the month of May, it got structural upgrades, as did an R2N liO I was building then.

The front end of the double decker end carriage broke, which contributed to the decision to scrap the train.

This is the first Regio 2N to be scrapped. It will not be the last. The R2N liO's days are numbered.

Here is a photo of it, brand new, on 18 April.
