VAL208 V2 important information

This is unusual, but I am telling you to NOT build the VAL208 V2 model.

This is due to great inaccuracies in the front of the model, which lead to an undesirable appearance.

 This only applies "Version 2" (V2) VAL208 models, which are the ilēvia and CDGVAL models, as well as the newer white version. If you have a V1 VAL208, this recall is irrelevant to you. 

I have unpublished all V2 VAL208s, and I will upload a new version tomorrow. If you have a V2 VAL208 on your computer, do NOT print it. It has severe inaccuracies on the front end, as the below photos illustrate:

The sides are okay;

The back is tolerable, but the rear windows need a redesign...

The sides and roof are good

The concern is with the front, the headlights are too low, this is the same problem the V1 VAL208s had.

 

If you have printed a V2 Val208, I will be issuing a fix, new panels you can glue over the old front to make it look better. The rest of the train is good, however, and there is no need to dispose of it.
