SJ Nord BM76

PavløvA_YT

After a LONG hiatus from making FLIRTs, I present: The BM76!!!

Easily the most technical Nordic FLIRT I have ever drawn, this train is different to the other FLIRTs in that it is diesel-electric, with a twin-engined, supercharged "Powerpack" carriage, labelled "XDe", inbetween the 2nd (BPa) and 3rd (BCMU) carriages. It also features the striking SJ Nord livery, my personal favourite of the 8 liveries the FLIRT Nordics have worn (being NSB, Vy transitional, Vy 1, Vy 2, Vy 3 (Bergsbanen), MTRX, VR, and SJ Nord)

These run in the area around Trondheim. This one is due to arrive in Trondheim Sentralstasjon, with the destination board reading "Trondheim S".

SJ Nord also operates some other trains, including sleeper cars, which are apparently very nice (source of sleeper car review: friend in Norway)

This model had a retool, bogie holes are smaller now, the front end is redesigned to not look so "bulky", and the doors actually have accurate windows now! The roof also got a retool... overall, it is more accurate, much of an improvement on the first version I made!

BMa (P1)
BPa (P2)
XDe (P2.5)
BCMU (P3)
BPb (P4)
BMb (P5)

Next FLIRT Nordic model will be a Bergsbanen BM75-2, which are apparently very nice, I will also do the B7 Carriagestock too... (source of BM75-2, and B7 Carriage review: my grandparents, who went to Norway about 2 years ago and went to Bergen)
