TFNSW K Set (K98)

PavløvA_YT

Liveries: State Rail Authority (SRA) "Candy" livery (4 below), CityRail Silver (3 below), CityRail CityDecker I (2 below), CityRail CityDecker II (below post), TFNSW CityDecker (this model)

Eagle-eyed viewers will spot that this is K98, one of 2 trains produced by coupling Newcastle K Sets K1-K4 together! K1 and K2 make up this train, and despite the yellow fronts on the driving trailers, they are not going to drive ever again. K98 is the sole Newcastle K Set left as K99, together with K94, have been scrapped (to my knowledge, I saw them at Maintrain without pantographs a month ago, which usually means they are about to be scrapped. K98 was temporarily out of service, but I believe it is back in service now.

No 2-car K Sets ever wore this livery, they had become K98 and K99 by then.

Also, I should note, K Sets number from K60-K99 (with K67, K75, K81, K83, K86, K88, K92, K96 and K99 out of service)
