Ile-de-France has a problem: Too many trams
So I, an idiotic bus fanatic, made a solution, with my favourite bus, the Gx337.
First, I modded it into a Gx427, and it was nice...
But here are some extension packs, if the Gx427 was not big enough and you want a 4 or 3 carriage bus... this is honestly just a tram at this point... wheel power arrangements are 1A+A+A+1 for 4 car setup and 1A+A+1 for 3 car setup, if you were curious.
Range is 530km for all variants, as all cars have batteries (even nonpowered end car), and the batteries take up most of the roof. Batteries, for simplicity, are not depicted on the drawings below:
ARRANGEMENTS:
P1-P4-P3-P2 ("Full " bus)
P1-P2 (The original Gx427 without the expansions)
P1 (The original Gx337 off of Pattern paper Cp92)
Tell me, which one are you making?NOTE THAT P4 MUST BE IMMEDIATELY AFTER P1 FOR BEST BOARDING AND ALIGHTING, IF IT IS AT THE BACK THEN BOARDING IS SLOWER!
Again, these are modified from CP92's original model, like the previous monstrosity!
P4P3
Enjoy! I really loved drawing this bus and I hope you will love building it!
DALFanBus, what do you make of this? Did it give you a heart attack?
You should do a BHNS (high-level bus service) like the one in Tzen 4 in Île-de-France or the one in Metz.
