Notes:
One of my favourite post-2010s trains, the BM 75 and its BM 74 and bi-mode BM 76 sister units are part of a series of trains made by Swiss manufacturer Stadler, for Norway's state rail operator (VY Group), and are called FLIRT Nordics (with FLIRT being an acronym - Fast, Light, Interregional Train, I believe). Custom-made for the Scandinavian market, these 1000-hp-per-carriage sledgehammers of a light train can do 200km/h and have, as one would imagine, very good heating, to ensure passenger comfort in minus 40 celsius weather, and are arctic-proof, equipped with snowplows to charge through blizzards. They run as regional trains. throughout Norway.
