All 4 carriages are now drawn!
The trains are halfsets coupled together and so the centre cars are actually directional!
The writing is trilingual to reflect that I have viewers from English-speaking countries, France (and Canada), who speak French, and viewers from Norway as my primary viewerbase.
This is my first train to be scaled; one pixel on the body is 2 centimetres in real life, the train is 719-pixel gauge!
The BVG Class JK and its Großprofil variant, the J, are evolutions of the BVG class IK, the "Icke". This, like its IK predecessor, is based off of the Stadler Metro platform, an off-the-shelf high level tram platform. Interestingly, this one has many adaptations to make it suited better to the U-Bahn, including a 3rd rail instead of a pantograph. The Stadler Metro platform is primarily found in England, operating as the Class 777 of Merseyrail and the Class 555 of Tyne and Wear's metro. Unlike these, it uses the above mentioned 3rd rail, something it shares with the Class J, which is honestly so big, that I do not know why it is considered a tram!
The train comes in 2- and 4-car variants.
Enjoy!
Do you guys like the PAV logo at the bottom of the train? I modeled it on the BVG logo! ^w^
