OS T2000

I promised I would not make it... but here we are! This is an Oslo Spoorveien T 2000, and they were... quite a cocktail of problems. Delivered in 1994, to replace the T 1300s and old Teak rolling stock, which ran on overhead wires, and to supplement the T 1000 stock, which ran on 3rd rail, the T 2000, Oslo Spoorveien (OS)'s first new train in over 20 years, could run on overhead or 3rd rail. It  was planned to replace the whole fleet of older rollingstock with these fancy new trains. That... did not happen. The T 2000 was full of problems, and it regularly broke down. It got to the point where a T 2000 spent more time in Ryen Depot being fixed than on the rails!

All were scrapped in 2016 😭

All were replaced by MX 3000s.

So much for fleet of the future.

Thank you Hayden, you know who you are, for helping me with this. Your superb knowledge of Norwegian trains saved my rear end when it came to designing this.

I am only just realising the fan looks like a Swastika... oh God no, I hate the Nazis.
